I just want to share my experience today. This is my first time to have encountered this situation. I have this guy from NY whom I put in one of our company's overview call. When I called him, his wife answered the phone with a sarcastic tone. So his wife woke him up and I talked to him. He said it's okey to talk so I continue. I asked him some questions to see if we have a fit to work together and with all his answers he was qualified so I decided to put him on that call. But before I gave him the schedule, he asked me a lot of questions already, so I told him he will learn everything he needs to know about the company on that call. He said he doesn't want to waste his time listening to people pitching the company. So I told him, "you know what, I don't wanna waste my time neither. And if you are not interested I will let you go cause I still have some more people to talk to." And then after he said the products sounds great so he said he will listen to the call.
So I put him on the call. I sent him the corporate site because he asked for it and my personal website as well. I called him right after the call was finished. Then when I talked to him he said the company sounds great, the products on personal development as well and he was asking me is it true that you can earn 7k in a week? So I said yes it's true, he can earn that amount of money. And he asked me if I earned 7K last week. So I told him, "you know what, it's not about me, but it's about you earning the money." And he keeps on asking me that question in a shouting manner while I was speaking. I didn't even have time to check his temperature because he was making blah blah blah and after he said, this company is a SCAM and he hang up. How rude, isn't he?
I can't believe it when I hear people saying bad things about a person they learned he has earned so much money better than what they are having themselves. There are people who has this "crab mentality" on them. Like a crab, when they see someone climbing on the top, they try to pull it back down. They do this by saying negative things, barking behind their backs. Why can't we not be happy and follow how this person achieve this kind of success?
What I learned here is to trust my instinct. When I first talked to this guy and heard his voice half sleeping, I already wrote on my notebook that I will disqualify him plus the fact that I didn't like how his wife sounded on the phone. I am not being judgmental here, but when you are studying personal development and you talk to somebody for the first time, you will sense his personality by the tone of his voice. I knew I will disqualify him one way or the other but I keep on talking to him. From the tone of his voice, I already sensed some negativity in him and a very close-minded person. And I don't want to work with people like that.
I've been talking to a number of people everyday. And I just can't understand why, when people are hearing personal development, their blood seems to jump in a very high level, heart pumping so fast with their hands sweating. People are so afraid to face their inner selves. We are so afraid to discover the ghost we have created in ourselves that make us hide inside our comfort zone. And yet, these people desire to have success in their lives. But how can a person achieve success if he doesn't really know who he is and what is his goal in life?

Gratitude: How often do you do it?
Often, we are very much indulged in our own problems that we forget there are also things we should be grateful for. Little things that make a big difference in our lives.I was on a call tonight and the topic was about gratitude. At the end of the call, I found myself in tears while listening to the people sharing their stories and how grateful they are for the things that are happening in their lives. There was one lady who said that she was sitting in her family room and found herself crying with tears of joy while looking at their family picture. She was grateful and blessed to be with her kids everyday and seeing them grow.
And I started to take a look at myself. And I realized I haven't been paying attention to all the things that are happening in my life right now. That I have so much to be grateful for everyday, my circle of friends, the community I am in right now, the success I am achieving and of course my family.

THE OPTIMIST CREED
PROMISE YOURSELF…
To be strong that nothing can disturb your peace of mind.
To talk health, happiness, and prosperity to every person you meet.
To make all your friends feel that there is something worthwhile in them.
To look at the sunny side of everything and make your optimism come true.
To think only of the best, to work only for the best and to expect only the best.
To be just as enthusiastic about the success of others as you are about your own.
To forget the mistakes of the past and press on to the greater achievements of the future.
To wear a cheerful expression at all times and give a smile to every living creature you meet.
To give so much time to improving yourself that you have no time to criticize others.
To be too large for worry, too noble for anger, too strong for fear, and too happy to permit the presence of trouble.
To think well of yourself and to proclaim this fact to the world, not in loud word, but in great deeds.
To live in the faith that the whole world is on your side, so long as you are true to the best that is in you.
